Welcome to our Shala!

The word “shala” means home in Sanskrit.

Heart N Soul Yoga Studio opened in February 2005. Our mission then and now is to empower a vibrant community of yogis in Northern Virginia to challenge, discover and meet themselves on the yoga mat. In addition to building strength and confidence through their yoga practice, our students (currently from age 6 to 80!) have witnessed firsthand the healing transformation of consistent a yoga practice and value the trust between student and teacher.

We are private yoga studio, currently located in a private home in Fairfax, VA 22032. **Pre-registration is required for all classes.

Heart N Soul Yoga School is also a registered school with Yoga Alliance. We offer in-depth Yoga Teacher Training courses at the 200h level for aspiring yoga teachers, as well as shorter CE Credits given by our YACEP instructor… for anyone who wishes to deepen their knowledge of the yoga practice.

We believe that practicing yoga achieves harmony between the mind, body + spirit and look forward to sharing in this exciting journey with you. See you on the Mat!
